Texas Policymakers To Push Margin Tax Changes Next Year

Law360, Houston (November 1, 2012, 8:10 PM EDT) -- In the aftermath of unsuccessful legal challenges to Texas' controversial tax on businesses, a state lawmaker and lobbyist group say there will be a push to reform the margin tax — or eliminate it altogether — when the Legislature reconvenes in January.
