Cheap Natural Gas, EPA Regs Claim Another Coal Mine

Law360, New York (November 2, 2012, 3:28 PM EDT) -- Bankrupt Patriot Coal Corp. said Friday it will shutter a Kentucky mine by the end of the year, becoming the latest in a string of companies to cut back as cheap natural gas and new environmental regulations dampen demand from power plants.
