Vibes Wants Jones Day DQ'd From Autograph Tech IP Suit

Law360, New York (November 6, 2012, 5:03 PM EST) -- Vibes Media LLC on Monday asked an Illinois federal court to disqualify Jones Day from representing rival marketing company Inc. in a patent dispute over Vibes' digital autograph platform, saying that the firm's ongoing representation of Verizon Wireless represents an ethical conflict given Verizon's vested interest in the Vibes technology.
