FTC Official Pushes EU To Ease Data Sharing Restrictions

Law360, New York (November 7, 2012, 5:49 PM EST) -- A Federal Trade Commission official on Wednesday urged the European Commission to consider a more flexible approach to its proposed overhaul of the bloc's data protection regime in order to ease data sharing restrictions that could impede the regulator's ability to probe cross-border privacy matters.
