NY Plaintiffs Firm Says Atty Schemed To Siphon Clients

Law360, New York (November 8, 2012, 3:48 PM EST) -- Antin Ehrlich & Epstein LLP hit one of its former lawyers with a $1 million suit on Wednesday, accusing attorney Frank Trief of concocting a stealth plan to quit and solicit the New York City plaintiffs firm's clients under false pretenses.

Trief, who recently set up his own law office in Midtown Manhattan, abruptly left the Garment District-based personal injury firm on Oct. 15 and declined to tell Antin Ehrlich where he was going, according to the civil suit.
