Fed. Circ. Reverses 'Best Mode' Ruling In Mining IP Suit

Law360, New York (November 8, 2012, 7:38 PM EST) -- The Federal Circuit affirmed Thursday that mining equipment made by Cincinnati Mine Machinery Co. doesn't infringe a Joy Technologies Inc. patent, but reversed a lower court's finding that a claim the patent discloses was invalid for failing the best mode requirement.
