Enviros Lose NRC Hearing Bid On San Onofre Plant Restarts

Law360, New York (November 9, 2012, 2:31 PM EST) -- Nuclear regulators on Thursday denied a bid by an environmental advocacy group to conduct a hearing on Southern California Edison Co.’s plans to restart its San Onofre nuclear plant, but asked some regulatory staff to handle certain aspects of a review following the plant’s shutdown due to a leak.
