Conduit, CAF Grab Majority Stake In Peruvian Solar Farms

Law360, New York (November 13, 2012, 3:09 PM EST) -- Development bank CAF and private equity-backed Conduit Capital Partners LLC have taken majority stakes in two solar projects in southern Peru to help get the new farms being built by a partnership of Spanish developers up and running, Conduit announced Monday.

Per the deal, Conduit and Venezuelan-based CAF will take an 81 percent stake in the Tacna and Panamericana solar projects, which together are worth about $210 million, according to Conduit. The projects are spearheaded by Spanish
