FDA Wants Strong Authority Over 'Nontraditional' Compounders

Law360, New York (November 14, 2012, 3:57 PM EST) -- The head of the Food and Drug Administration detailed which powers the agency wants from Congress over “nontraditional” compounding pharmacies, including the authority to require such pharmacies to register with the FDA and meet federal standards for good practices, at a congressional hearing Wednesday.
