ITC Will Reconsider Litepanels Infringement Findings

Law360, New York (November 16, 2012, 6:57 PM EST) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission will take a second look at its findings that various light-emitting diode lighting devices imported into the U.S. infringe a trio of patents held by Litepanels Inc., according to a preview of Monday's Federal Register.

According to the ITC's notice, the agency will review various components of September's final initial determination, in which Administrative Law Judge Theodore R. Essex found a violation of Section 337 of the Tariff Act occurred through the import and sale of certain LED photographic lighting devices...
