RE Organizations Intervene In EPA Water Flow Limits Suit

Law360, Chicago (November 16, 2012, 5:56 PM EST) -- Three real estate industry groups became involved Thursday in a lawsuit aimed at preventing federal regulators from imposing water flow restrictions on Virginia's Accotink Creek watershed, saying their members would shoulder significant costs to comply with rules that wouldn't improve the creek as desired.

The National Association of Home Builders, The Northern Virginia Association of Realtors and commercial real estate development association NAIOP Northern Virginia lodged an intervening complaint in the suit, which Virginia's transportation department and the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors launched in July....
