Quest Accuses Rival Of Copying Diagnostics Software

Law360, New York (November 07, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- Quest Software Inc. is accusing a rival computer diagnostics company of stealing information from protected computer systems, then using the data to launch its own rival products in violation of a Quest patent.

Quest filed a suit on Tuesday against BBS Technologies Inc., which does business as Idera, in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas for alleged patent infringement and violations of the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act.
