Objectors In $80M Chinese Drywall Deal Want Attys Sanctioned

Law360, New York (November 19, 2012, 3:27 PM EST) -- Class members who object to an $80 million settlement agreement that is part of the massive litigation regarding allegedly defective Chinese drywall asked a federal judge on Friday to sanction class counsel for allegedly trying to intimidate the objectors.

Objectors Saul Soto, SHS Construction, Ronnie Garcia and Bay Area Contracting & Construction Inc. alleged that class counsel impermissibly harassed Soto and Garcia during their depositions and should be sanctioned for it.
