Perkins Coie Fights Disqualification in Patent Dispute

Law360, Los Angeles (November 19, 2012, 9:22 PM EST) -- Perkins Coie LLP urged a California judge Monday not to disqualify it from representing a Canadian company in a patent infringement dispute involving network messaging technology, saying it was "mere speculation" that an attorney who once worked for the plaintiff provided the law firm or its client with confidential information.
