Nova Datacom Exec Gets 15 Months For $20M Contract Scheme

Law360, New York (November 20, 2012, 5:26 PM EST) -- A former senior executive at information technology and planning company Nova Datacom LLC was sentenced Monday to 15 months in prison, after pleading guilty last year to helping orchestrate a federal contract scam that allegedly cost the U.S. government more than $20 million.

U.S. District Judge Emmet G. Sullivan of the District of Columbia imposed the sentence on Theodoros Hallas of Rockville, Md. After prison, Hallas was ordered to serve three years of supervised release, according to the docket.
