7th Circ. Rejects EEOC Reading Of ADA Medical Records Rule

Law360, New York (November 20, 2012, 9:14 PM EST) -- The Seventh Circuit refused Tuesday to revive the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission's lawsuit accusing Thrivent Financial for Lutherans of violating confidentiality requirements for medical records by revealing a computer programmer's migraine condition to prospective employers, rejecting the agency's broad interpretation of the law.
