Antin Ehrlich, Ex-Atty Reach Deal In Client Poaching Suit

Law360, New York (November 26, 2012, 3:42 PM EST) -- New York-based personal injury firm Antin Ehrlich & Epstein LLP has reached an agreement with a former attorney it accuses in a $1 million suit of poaching clients, a state court filing said Monday, suggesting the sides were keen to avoid a lawyer-on-lawyer brawl.

Antin Ehrlich, which sued Nov. 7, acknowledged in a stipulation that defendant lawyer Frank Trief, who in October formed his own eponymous law firm, had letters showing that 22 individual clients had agreed to retain him.
