Price Postel Must Repay Insurer For Defamation Suit Defense

Law360, Los Angeles (November 26, 2012, 9:54 PM ET) -- A California federal judge ruled Wednesday that Price Postel & Parma LLP is obligated to reimburse Hartford Insurance Co. of the Midwest for the fees and costs it incurred defending the firm from an ex-partner's defamation lawsuit related to her 2009 termination.

U.S. District Judge Margaret M. Morrow granted Hartford's motion for summary judgment, holding it is entitled to reimbursement for the nearly $679,000 it spent on Price Postel's defense in its litigation with lawyer Penny Clemmons, who sued the firm after she was fired....
