Acadia Puts Up $258M For 2 Rivals In Acquisition Blitz

Law360, New York (November 27, 2012, 5:15 PM EST) -- Inpatient care provider Acadia Healthcare Co. Inc. will pay a total of $258 million to scoop up two rivals, adding eight psychiatric facilities to its network that can accommodate up to 600 more patients, the company said Tuesday.

In separate deals, the Franklin, Tenn.-based company agreed to pay $145 million for Behavioral Centers of America LLC and $113 million for AmiCare Behavioral Centers. Subject to customary closing conditions, Acadia expects to button up both deals in late December.
