Law360, New York (November 28, 2012, 3:30 PM ET) -- New Jersey officials Wednesday announced another round of civil lawsuits over Superstorm Sandy price gouging, this time accusing seven hotels and three gas stations of taking advantage of vulnerable consumers during an emergency declaration associated with the storm.
An affiliated group of companies, North-Bergen-based Ratan Hospitality Group, owns three of those hotels as well as a fourth hotel that the state accused of price gouging earlier this month, according to officials. Together, those four hotels are accused of more than 500 incidents of price gouging....
