Carlisle Builds On Its Aerospace Products Biz With $265M Buy

Law360, New York (November 29, 2012, 3:39 PM EST) -- North Carolina diversified product company Carlisle Cos. Inc. has agreed to buy Belden Inc.'s aerospace services manufacturing division for $265 million, both companies announced Thursday.

Carlisle will pick up Belden's Thermax-Raydex business by purchasing the assets of Thermax and the stock of Raydex/CDT Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Belden. The deal is expected to close by the end of the year.

The Thermax-Raydex division makes and sells wire and cable products that provide data transmission and power capabilities for the aerospace, avionics and electronics industries....
