Ovcon Maker Settles Final Authorized Generics Suit

Law360, New York (November 9, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Specialty pharmaceutical company Warner Chilcott Ltd. said Thursday that it would pay $9 million to settle the last remaining antitrust lawsuit brought against it by direct purchasers of the oral contraceptive Ovcon 35.

Under the tentative agreement, which is still subject to court approval, all claims will be dismissed and the litigation terminated in exchange for the cash payment.
