Skullcandy Settles Hitachi's Rare-Earth Magnet IP Claims

Law360, New York (November 29, 2012, 5:23 PM EST) -- Skullcandy Inc. has settled Hitachi Metals Inc.'s claims accusing the headphone manufacturer of importing products containing rare-earth magnets covered by Hitachi patents, according to documents filed Wednesday with the U.S. International Trade Commission.

Skullcandy and Hitachi submitted a settlement agreement and requested that the ITC terminate its investigation into the company's importation of sintered rare earth magnets and products.
