Senate Drops Biofuel Refinery Restriction From Defense Bill

Law360, New York (November 29, 2012, 7:13 PM EST) -- The U.S. Senate on Thursday passed another amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act for 2013, this time by Sen. Kay Hagan, D-N.C., to drop a provision that would have kept the Navy from teaming up with the U.S. Agriculture and Energy departments to invest in building biofuel refineries.
