Law360, New York (November 29, 2012, 5:27 PM ET) -- New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo said Thursday he has issued an executive order that will make it easier for insurance companies to expedite the payment of claims for New Yorkers affected by Superstorm Sandy.
The order will allow for expedited, temporary licenses to be issued to qualified out-of-state public insurance adjusters, increasing the number of adjusters available to New York consumers to help get their claim settlements faster, Cuomo’s office said in a statement.
