Stuy Town Tenants Net $69M Deal In Rent Overcharge Case

Law360, New York (November 29, 2012, 9:55 PM EST) -- A class of Stuyvesant Town and Peter Cooper Village tenants won preliminarily approval Thursday of a $69 million payment in a settlement that brings the tenants' overall recovery in their suit over rent overcharge claims at New York's largest housing complex up to nearly $147 million.
