Hyundai Buyers Win Tentative Cert. In Mileage Ad Suit

Law360, Los Angeles (November 29, 2012, 10:03 PM EST) -- A California federal judge on Thursday tentatively certified a class action accusing Hyundai Motor America of falsely advertising the fuel efficiency of Elantra and Sonata models, finding its marketing efforts were extensive enough that consumers could have relied on the ads to make purchasing decisions.
