Judge Nixes Challenge To Commerce's Fish Regulation

Law360, New York (December 3, 2012, 6:05 PM EST) -- A Washington federal judge nixed a challenge Friday to a fishery management plan by the U.S. Department of Commerce's National Marine Fisheries Service, saying the fish processors who brought the suit lacked standing because their claims were based on alleged economic loss, not the environmental considerations that led to the policy.
