Supreme Court Won't Examine Fen-Phen Atty's Fraud Conviction

Law360, New York (December 3, 2012, 2:43 PM EST) -- The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday declined to review an attorney's fraud conviction for keeping millions in class settlement funds meant for victims of the defective diet pill fen-phen, effectively upholding a decision by the Sixth Circuit that his actions were intentional.

In a brief order, the high court refused William J. Gallion’s petition for a writ of certiorari, without comment.
