Jury Hands TransWeb Win In 3M Patent Infringement Suit

Law360, New York (December 3, 2012, 6:35 PM EST) -- A New Jersey federal jury on Friday found 3M Innovative Properties Co. tried to enforce two fraudulently obtained patents in violation of antitrust laws, handing TransWeb LLC a win in its suit over filtration technology used in government-certified respiratory products.

The jury largely found in favor of TransWeb in determining two 3M-held patents were invalid and unenforceable, according to the jury verdict form.
