Cushman Sued Over Handling Of Citadel Office Expansion

Law360, New York (December 4, 2012, 3:36 PM EST) -- Asset management firm Citadel LLC sued real estate services company Cushman & Wakefield Inc. in New York state court Friday alleging breach of contract in connection with its management of the multimillion-dollar build-out of Citadel's Manhattan office space.

Cushman allegedly violated its project management services agreements with Citadel by allowing the project's general contractor, Aragon LLC, to double-bill and overcharge Citadel, artificially inflate the value of bids from subcontractors, use an unlicensed subcontractor for fire sprinkler installation and steal $100,000 worth of lighting fixtures, according to...
