Blackstone Pays $882M For Dutch Tax Consultancy

Law360, New York (December 5, 2012, 1:08 PM EST) -- Blackstone Group LP has agreed to acquire tax consulting company Intertrust Group Holding SA from a Dutch private equity firm, Intertrust said Wednesday, for a reported €675 million (US$882 million).

Intertrust, which provides tax advice to large corporations and other customers, said New York-based Blackstone had agreed to buy the Dutch company from Waterland Private Equity Investments BV. The deal is subject to regulatory approval and is expected to close in the next several months.
