Law360, New York (December 5, 2012, 3:56 PM EST) -- More than a dozen companies, including Emhart Industries and Pyro Spectaculars Inc., have agreed to a $50 million settlement to clean up contamination from fireworks manufacturing activities at a Superfund site in San Bernardino County, Calif., the U.S. Department of Justice said Wednesday.

The B.F. Superfund site has been used to store, test and manufacture fireworks, munitions, rocket motors and pyrotechnics and was added to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s National Priorities List in September 2009, the DOJ said.
