Capital Power Buys Into $1.4B Enmax Power Project

Law360, New York (December 6, 2012, 7:02 PM EST) -- Capital Power Corp. has purchased a 50 percent stake in the biggest natural gas-fired power project in western Canada, the CA$1.4 billion (US$1.41 billion) Shepard Energy Centre that provincial utility Enmax Corp. is developing in Alberta, the companies announced on Thursday.
