Apple Patent Tentatively Rejected By USPTO, Samsung Says

Law360, New York (December 7, 2012, 3:18 PM EST) -- Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., currently seeking to overturn a U.S. International Trade Commission ruling that it infringed Apple Inc.'s smartphone patents, alerted the trade body on Thursday that one of Apple's patents had been tentatively rejected after a re-examination at the patent office.
