Commerce Says Argentine Lemon Juice Duties Must Remain

Law360, New York (December 10, 2012, 3:24 PM EST) -- The U.S. Department of Commerce has determined that duties imposed on imports of lemon juice from Argentina must be maintained so that the merchandise is not dumped onto the U.S. market, according to a notice published in Friday's Federal Register.

Commerce said that it has determined through a review of its suspended investigation of Argentine lemon juice that tariffs must be applied in order to deter the exports from being sold on the domestic market at unfairly discounted rates.
