Dissecting Del.'s New Discovery Guidelines

Law360, New York (December 14, 2012, 12:13 PM EST) -- On Dec. 4, 2012, the Delaware Court of Chancery announced amendments to certain of its rules and new discovery guidelines, both reflecting an effort to deal with the demands of modern discovery.

Generally, Court of Chancery Rules 26, 30, 34 and 45 will be amended to add "electronically stored information" and "tangible" things to the types of discovery addressed by the rules.
