PNC Bank Sues NJ Firm Hunt Hamlin For Note Default

Law360, New York (December 11, 2012, 8:03 PM EST) -- PNC Bank NA has sued the Newark-based law firm of Hunt Hamlin & Ridley and its founding partners for allegedly defaulting on a $500,000 promissory note.

The bank contends that the law firm owes more than $336,000 under the note, along with accrued interest, late charges, attorney's fees and other legal costs. The note matured on Dec. 9, 2010, but has not been paid, according to the Nov. 30 complaint in Essex County Superior Court.
