Complaint In Oil Rig Patent Row Can Continue, Judge Says

Law360, Dallas (December 10, 2012, 8:19 PM ET) -- A Texas federal judge on Monday ruled that sales activity within the U.S. was sufficient to allow a patent infringement suit against an offshore oil rig technology manufacturer to continue, rejecting the manufacturer’s argument the allegedly infringing activity was out of the reach of the U.S. Patent Act.
