NRC Revises Employee Protection Rules, Enforcement

Law360, New York (November 14, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission has amended its employee protection regulations, making it clear that the it will fine contractors and subcontractors who discriminate against employees who engage in “protected activities,” such as reporting their employers to the commission for violating the Atomic Energy Act or the Energy Reorganization Act.
