Obama Signs Bill Ending Cold War Trade Limits With Russia

Law360, New York (December 14, 2012, 5:57 PM EST) -- President Barack Obama on Friday signed into law legislation that rolls back Cold War-era trade restrictions with Russia, allowing the U.S. to take advantage of Moscow's recent acceptance into the World Trade Organization.

Federal trade officials hailed the law as beneficial to U.S. businesses because of increased trade liberalization and allows the U.S. to address trade disputes with Russia in the WTO, if necessary.
