Mining Co. Liable For Columbia River Pollution Costs

Law360, New York (December 17, 2012, 4:08 PM EST) -- A Washington federal judge on Friday found mining company Teck Resources Ltd. liable for costs incurred by the state government and an Indian tribe related to Teck's dumping of hazardous pollutants into the Columbia River.
