Geico Sold Auto Policies Below NJ Legal Minimums, Suit Claims

Law360, New York (December 17, 2012, 8:22 PM EST) -- Geico General Insurance Co. was hit with a putative class action in New Jersey federal court Friday accusing it of selling car insurance without getting customers' consent for policies that include levels of coverage for collisions with uninsured or underinsured motorists lower than the minimum required under state law.
