NJ Assembly Approves Internet Gaming Measure

Law360, New York (December 18, 2012, 8:07 PM EST) -- The New Jersey Assembly on Monday approved legislation allowing people in the state to place Internet bets on authorized games currently available at Atlantic City casinos, an effort that extends gaming statewide.

Assembly Bill A2578 seeks to amend New Jersey’s Casino Control Act so that any game authorized to be played in existing Atlantic City casinos can be offered through Internet gaming, so long as it is approved by the state Division of Gaming Enforcement.
