Iberdrola, Vattenfall To Build World's Biggest Wind Farm

Law360, New York (December 18, 2012, 7:04 PM EST) -- Spain's Iberdrola SA, owners of the world's biggest wind power portfolio, is seeking British government approval to build what would be the world's largest wind farm off the coast of England.

The 1,200-megawatt East Anglia One project would be a joint venture with Sweden's Vattenfall AB, and would be the first phase of an offshore wind complex that could one day generate up to 7,200 megawatts.
