DOD Plan To Tackle Audit Backlog Shows Promise, GAO Says

Law360, New York (December 18, 2012, 6:57 PM EST) -- The Defense Contract Audit Agency, in facing an enormous backlog of unaudited contracts, is shifting focus to tackle the highest-dollar and highest-risk contracts first, an approach that shows promise but needs clearer implementation guidelines, the Government Accountability Office reported Tuesday.
