Judge Wary Of MF Global Customer Group's Deposition Push

Law360, New York (December 19, 2012, 1:26 PM EST) -- A New York bankruptcy judge said Wednesday he didn't think a group of MF Global Inc. customers could depose former CEO John Corzine and other bigwigs at the failed broker-dealer before they're questioned in related multidistrict litigation.

Judge Martin Glenn said during a hearing he was skeptical the Commodity Customer Coalition, which represents about 10,000 of MF Global's former customers, was even entitled to take depositions because it isn't a creditor.
