Former Carter's Exec Pleads Guilty To Insider Trading

Law360, New York (December 19, 2012, 6:07 PM EST) -- The former head of investor relations for children's clothing company Carter's Inc. pled guilty to charges related to insider trading in Georgia federal court Tuesday after being accused of using confidential Carter's information to his benefit.

Eric Martin, who served at Carter's between 2005 and 2009, leaked information he learned in his position to a former Wall Street analyst referred to as “Cooperator Number 1,” according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.
