NY Court Shuts Down Law School Job Data Dispute

Law360, New York (December 20, 2012, 10:44 PM EST) -- A New York appeals court on Thursday upheld the dismissal of a putative class action alleging New York Law School misled its students by puffing up employment and salary statistics, ruling the school's statements didn't constitute false information.

A three-judge panel said that even though some of the employment statistics the school promoted to prospective students may not have contained complete information about job statistics, that didn't amount to misleading the students or giving them false information.
