Apple Takes Samsung Injunction Bid To Fed. Circ.

Law360, New York (December 20, 2012, 10:02 PM EST) -- Apple Inc. on Thursday took its bid for a U.S. sales ban on several Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. smartphones found to infringe the company's patents and trade dress to the Federal Circuit just three days after a California federal judge denied the injunction.

In a one-page filing in the Northern District of California, Apple notified the court of its intent to appeal U.S. District Judge Lucy Koh's Monday decision that denied Apple's request for a permanent injunction.
